A Guide to Hearing Loss Treatment Options

We take great pride in the care we provide for our patients, from children to senior adults. We listen to your story, concerns, and needs, then decide what's most appropriate for you. No one solution fits all; we give our patients completely customized care and solutions based on their situations, life stages, and lifestyles.

At Hearing Health Associates, the journey to better hearing begins with a thorough diagnostic assessment. Our audiologists utilize state-of-the-art technology and techniques to accurately evaluate each patient's hearing profile.

Treatment Options

Once their diagnostic assessments are complete, Dr. Cameron and Dr. Garber develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and preferences. Our comprehensive approach to hearing loss treatments includes the following:

Hearing Aids

Hearing aids come in various designs, with a wide range of functions and features to address an individual’s specific needs. We carry multiple brands with many different colors and features, so if we diagnose that you need a hearing aid, you will have a lot to choose from! We understand you may be concerned about how hearing aids will affect your appearance—the good news is that most hearing aids today are small enough that they are virtually invisible!

Surgery & Implants

If you or your child are deaf or have a profound hearing loss that our doctors can't address with hearing aids, then surgery and implants may be necessary.

A few examples include:

  • Cochlear Implants

  • Middle Ear Implants

  • Bone-Anchored Hearing Systems

  • Auditory Brainstem Implants

We will work with you to determine the appropriate solution and refer you to a local Otolaryngologist (ear, nose, and throat specialist) to ensure you receive their specialized care. We will also be with you every step of the way!

Assistive Listening Devices

When a patient has a hearing loss, an assistive listening device (ALD) may be required in addition to a hearing aid. Examples of ALDs are amplified telephones, TV enhancers, visual smoke and doorbell alarms, and various other items designed to keep people who are hard of hearing in touch with their environment. We stock many of these items in our office for demonstration so that you can explore the latest technologies and their application.

Our commitment to improving auditory wellness extends beyond diagnosis to comprehensive treatment and ongoing support. By combining advanced technology with personalized care, we empower individuals with hearing loss to reclaim the joy of communication and reconnect with the world around them. If you or a loved one is experiencing hearing difficulties, don't hesitate to schedule a consultation with us for expert evaluation and compassionate care.
