COVID-19 Updates to Our Policies and Procedures
The safety and health of our patients and staff have always been our first concern. We are closely following the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Virginia Department of Health for our response to COVID-19. We fully recognize that many of the population we serve are among the most vulnerable to diseases like COVID-19 and the flu.
In addition to following interim guidance from the CDC, we are also taking the following additional measures to further strengthen our protocols and safeguard our patients’ health:
Appointments Only
At this time, we are discouraging walk-ins so that we can maintain having one scheduled person in the office at a time. If you are feeling under the weather or are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, including a fever, cough, or shortness of breath, we ask that you call and reschedule your appointment so as not to put other patients or the staff at risk. We recommend reviewing guidelines from the CDC on preventing illness. Please keep in mind, if you need to have your hearing aids cleaned, you can also schedule an appointment for a healthy family member to bring them to the office for you.
Appointment Procedures
When you arrive at our office, please call to notify us. We will either invite you in or call you when it is your turn so that no one is sitting in the waiting room. When it is your turn to enter the building, we ask that you do not bring anyone else unless they are necessary for your transportation. Please also wear a mask if you have one.

Our Staff
Our staff will be wearing masks and gloves and disinfecting the office in-between visits. We have also instructed providers and staff to stay home if they are sick. If your provider becomes ill, we will ask them to stay home, and we sincerely apologize if this means we need to reschedule your appointment.
