Dr. Cameron was raised in Roanoke, VA. He received his bachelor’s degree from James Madison University, his master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and his audiology doctorate from Salus University. He completed his clinical fellowship in Charleston, SC, in 1990 and accepted a position at the North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem. In 1993, he returned to Roanoke to continue his career at LewisGale Clinic. He and Dr. Garber then co-founded Hearing Health Associates in 2000. Dr. Cameron is married and has two sons and one daughter. He primarily sees patients in the Roanoke office.


Tammy Garber, Au.D.

Dr. Garber is originally from Harrisonburg, VA. She received her bachelor’s degree from James Madison University, her master’s in audiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her audiology doctorate from Salus University. In 1995, after practicing for several years in North Carolina, Dr. Garber relocated with her family to Roanoke. In Roanoke she continued her career at LewisGale Clinic and, in May 2000, established Hearing Health Associates along with Dr. Cameron. Dr. Garber has recently relocated with her husband and two daughters to Crozet. She will see patients in the new Crozet office, as well as in the Roanoke office.
